Losing weight or gaining weight is never a fluke.

It’s not an accident. It doesn’t happen to you.

It is created by you.

By your thoughts. By your feelings. By what you do and don’t do.

In that order.

That you lost weight without really trying last time;

That you're anxious or stressed or tired and need something

Your brain’s lying to you - and you need to check in. 

We used to rely on our primitive brain when we lived in tight knit tribes. It became our default, directing us to:

Seek Pleasure. Find Comfort. Safety First, at all costs. 

Can you see now why your brain is so pumped on Temptation Island? 

It’s surrounded by pleasure! 

It’s keeping you grounded in comfortable although unhealthy habits! 

This is safety, different = hard = danger! 

We need to override this talk track, this old brain story - to get out of auto pilot. 

Listen, if your goal is to take care of yourself differently with healthier intentions, you don’t deserve the cocktail. Right?
